In ancient Rome, snail races were frenetically followed by members of all levels of society. However, during the course of centuries the sports sank into oblivion. Fortunately it was rediscovered recently and is enjoying increasing popularity.
Races of categories SNAIL and SLUG are held in Hotel Pfeiffermuehle. Please bring along your own snail. The winner will receive one leaf of lettuce.
