Discover Nature through the Viewfinder of a Camera
The aim of this activity is to kindle interest in children even though they might not be so much interested in nature. Each participant needs to bring a digital camera and chooses a motif, for example mushrooms, shadows, stones, river, bark, insects, flowers or leaves. Regarding the choice of the motif there are no limits and one can also select “forest arts”, surface structures or details of anything related to nature. Together we wander to the woods, the creek or the meadow, each of us in order to look for his motif. Thus, we will experience and discover nature. At the end of the activity, each participant chooses his best three “shots” and presents them to the rest of the group. The results are put on the Internet.
